This week: mobility for every generation and where micro-EVs fit into more liveable cities.
01
Mobility for everyone, at every age
European Mobility Week takes place on 16–22 September. Its 2026 theme is “Mobility for Everyone”, with a particular focus on the needs of different generations.
Walking, cycling and public transport do not work for every person or every journey. An enclosed electric quadricycle can offer a practical additional option. For Liddel, the starting point is what helps someone stay independently mobile.

A small electric vehicle is not the answer to every journey
The European campaign promotes active travel, public transport and other clean mobility options. The week ends with Car-Free Day.
A micro-EV still takes up space. Our advice starts with the journey: could you walk, cycle or use public transport? Where those options are impractical, we can explore whether a City fits. Being small and electric does not make it a replacement for every other way of travelling.
